The Scottish Government has published their latest Equally Safe Delivery Plan to address violence against women and girls, developed in partnership with COSLA. This focuses on prevention of abuse across Scotland’s diverse communities, and for the first time, includes taking forward a specific approach to tackle Honour Based Abuse.

We are honoured to announce that a memorial bench will be unveiled in memory of Fawziyah Javed on the 2nd of September, 2024, at 1 PM at Arthur’s Seat in Edinburgh. This event and bench is a tribute to the life of an extraordinary woman who touched the hearts of many and left a permanent mark on all who knew her.
