‘We Remember’ Schools Programme

A specialist schools RSE programme on Honour-Based Abuse for students aged 14-18, fully mapped to statutory RSE requirements.

We Remember is a free RSE programme designed to help students aged
14–18 explore healthy relationships, forced marriage and Honour-Based
Abuse through the real-life stories of those affected. This pilot programme is is fully mapped to statutory RSE requirements and built to support safe, meaningful classroom discussion and creative expression.

Education professionals frequently tell us they find these issues difficult to talk about in the classroom, and that Honour-Based Abuse too often goes
unrecognised or is normalised within communities. We Remember is designed to change that: equipping teachers with the confidence, knowledge and resources to address HBA safely and sensitively.

We are now inviting schools across England and Wales to join this national pilot consultation.

Your involvement will directly shape the resources, training and guidance that schools receive – ensuring they are practical, sensitive and effective.
