Support we offer to safeguarding professionals:

Most helpful and provided a widescale of knowledge and advice. As a professional I have contacted others for advice and information around forced marriage only to find that there is very little information available on the subject. Thank you for increasing my knowledge for future reference, hopefully the information will improve my skills and this will help to achieve a positive outcome for my client

Our helpline is here to support professionals in taking the right steps to safeguard those at risk of Honour Based Abuse and to help them feel assured in their response.

Brilliant service with a wealth of information. As a professional, I needed this guidance and support to help someone with no recourse to public funds. Thanks for the guidance

What we can’t help with

We are not able to help with all requests. Here are some examples of what we won’t be able to help you with:

I am a midwife calling for advice about a woman in my care – the person I spoke to was kind, compassionate and had lots of good advice, and was able to give me contact details of lots of relevant agencies as sources of support and information.
