Today marks four years since the murder of Fawziyah Javed.
This video, part of our Day of Memory 2025 Memory Box created with her mother, Yasmin, honours Fawziyah for who she truly was, a beloved daughter, friend, and light in the lives of so many.
Fawziyah had her whole life ahead of her. We stand in solidarity with the Javed family in remembering her always.
In her legacy, change has already begun. The announcement of a statutory definition for Honour Based Abuse, part of the #Push4Change campaign is a step forward that ensures Fawziyah’s story drives lasting change.
